My wife had a tire warning light come on driving down the Coq. She stopped in and the Mgr and tire tech looked at her car right away and told her that the tire was not punctured, filled it with air and she was on her way. Great service and friendly staff.

I am so grateful for the helpful folks at Kal Tire in Merritt. I was driving the Coq on the way to Kelowna making the decent towards Merritt when out of the blue, my vehicle started making a concerning noise. After weighing the options, I continued driving towards Merritt in hopes I could have a professional advise me if it was ok to continue to drive to Kelowna or not. Of course, this happened on a Friday at the end of the working day. I popped into a large Canadian chain store to see if their service department could have a quick look at my vehicle to advise me if it was safe to continue driving or not. Reliable towing in Merritt BC responded to a BCAA road service call for my 1989 Plymouth GRAND voyager 13 KM FROM MERRITT EXIT 272 LEFT REAR BEARING VIBRATING PULLED OVER CHECK THE WHEEL CALL BCAA IN 45 MINUTES. THEY ARRIVED TOWED MY VEHICLE TO KAL TIRE MERRITT BC TO REPLACE THE BEARING. During this expedition, my good Samaritan friend used her AC while parked while I was working this killed the battery, In advertently while we were waiting for the tow for my voyager, her vehicle would not start. The consideration of the tow truck driver was outstanding. We were transported to a hotel we reserved. The night inn wonderful, reasonable, accommodation outstanding!... read full review
