Just had a wonderful weekend Reunion at Corbett. They're cabins were great (just the right mix of clean yet rustic) Our catered dinner Saturday night was amazing (every course) and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Corbett Lake Fishing Lodge is an absolute gem! Highly recommended. 25/25
My recent visit at the Lodge was just before the May long weekend... unfortunately, with the Covid 19 pandemic still lurking, I wasn't able to enjoy the accommodation or the lodge services... however, the hospitality was awesome. #CorbettLakeLodge has a lot of things worth mentioning. - The fishing is fabulous... adequately stocked with medium sized rainbows that grow to great big rainbows. - manageable lake size... you can cover the whole lake in a day but it's not likely that one would... once one finds their hotspot there is very little reason to move. - plenty of boats ... I didn't need one they have a fleet of 12' Marlons (with electric motors if you like) that are just great for flyfishing for one or 2 persons. - And most importantly, the people who work the lodge... led by Ann Thompson who treats her guests like family As for the fishing... we had a 10 fish day, nothing under 17" or over 20"... and while I was launching, the fish truck came down and released a bunch of 2-3lb rainbows that needed a lip pull.
