“I had my first float at Float House recently. The facility was very clean and I never felt uncomfortable or gross at any point. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and did a good job explaining how everything worked. The intro price for a first float is also very reasonable, which made it easy to try.
The experience itself just wasn’t really for me. My feet kept bumping into the sides of the chamber while floating, which took away from the sensory deprivation aspect. I also felt cold for most of the session, so I would recommend asking them to turn the heat up beforehand. The room felt a bit more clinical than I expected. I was picturing more of a cozy spa vibe, but everythingwas hospital white. A chair in the room would also have been helpful, as it was tricky putting socks back on with damp feet and nowhere to sit.
I may have gone in with expectations that were a bit too high based on friends’ recommendations. It felt more like a novelty experience to me. It was relaxing, but for my personal preference I find a sauna or steam room gives a similar result. That said, none of this is a reflection on the business itself. They run a clean, professional operation. It just wasn’t the right fit for me.“

“I just finished my Invisalign treatments with Dr. Chris at Smile Esthetics and I couldn't recommend it enough! I felt more taken care of there than I have at any similar office, beyond compare. I am soooo happy with my results and honestly a little sad my treatment is complete and have no reason to go back. Though, there is a dentist side to the office where I also became a patient. Again, very happy with the service provided. Super knowledgeable staff all around. Dr. Chris is clearly a perfectionist (as am I) and I felt heard and informed every step of the process. “I just had my 2nd massage w Aldwin and it was A-ma-zing!!
I did deep tissue the first time and let me tell ya it was super deep but Aldwin was excellent at gauging my response and when to lighten up. It is rare that a Massage makes a big difference for me other than relaxing me for the rest of the day.
After having my second massage with him, I can feel the deep changes that are happening already.
I chose a hot stone massage the second time and Aldwin used some different techniques, as well as stretches that were very effective. Aldwin is kind, professional respectful, has a warm personality, which makes it very easy to relax in his lovely studio.

So far, I've had both the deep tissue and the head, neck, and shoulder massages here, and it's the only place where I’ve actually had knots fully worked out & not just temporarily relieved like at other places, even with RMTs. The environment is incredibly calming, the massage therapist is lovely, and the treatments are genuinely effective. Highly, highly recommend!“

“This is a pleasant clinic off of Saanich, I always feel cared for by the staff, and have never had to wait very long. I generally go to see Dr Atkins myself, although they have a range of modalities to handle a variety of health issues. As a practitioner myself I am picky about whom I go to with health problems, with that in mind Dr Atkins has never failed to impress and has solved several issues that befuddled numerous medical MDs I've seen for the same issue.
