The Sweet Spot Beauty Bar - TEMPORARILY CLOSED

Great experience at The Sweet Spot! Got a pedicure and massage with my lady friend and we were super happy with the results. Very easy to book appointments and staff were friendly and helpful. The owner was especially great! Highly recommend!

I would like to say this ,The Sweet Spot Beauty Bar is absolutely beautiful I had a pedicure done and was absolutely happy the Lady's were all so nice and friendly there ,the service was awesome the atmosphere was great ,I would definitely go back again ,when I walked in everyone smiled and Said hi they made you feel so comfortable being there .so I'm definitely going back there and will tell my friends about this gorgeous Sweet Spot Beauty Bar , so thank you to all the the wonderful staff there and for making me feel so comfortable.

Horrible!! Booked a 1 hour “Relaxation” massage & they led me to what seemed like a glorified closet. The ‘therapist’ very clearly had no idea what a Relaxation massage was as she just grabbed and rubbed the same body parts over & over all the while her watch strap hitting my ear. At one point it was like she was mildly choking my larynx so I finally spoke up & told her to stop. No music going, candles etc just a dull hum from our ‘Relaxing’ room. This was DEFINITELY NOT a relaxation massage. In fact I left with increased anxiety! DON’T go to this place for any Relaxation massage as the practitioners appear to be the janitors!! If I could give a lower rating then 1 star I would!

Absolutely horrible experience! Firstly, I had to sit outside for 10 minutes while they opened up the salon (maybe be open & ready BY 10am, instead of just arriving to work at 10) I booked a 1.5 hour appointment because my nails are long & pointy & I know they take extra long but after 1.5 hours, all the girl had done was sanded off my shellac & refilled the acrylic. At this point, I started expressing verbal concern to my tech that I had a pedicure appointment in 30 minutes and asked if she would be able to be finished by then her response told me that she would not be able to have my nails done by then (The owner even heard me, expressing my concern to the tech and chose to not even acknowledge or offer assistance at this time to ensure that I could Be done in time for my pedicure) By this time, my husband had arrived for our 1130 pedicure appointment, which we were supposed to enjoy together after my nails were completed. When he walked in the door, he was not greeted by the owner who was sitting behind the front desk on the computer. He had to ask her who would be providing him with his pedicure treatment that day, and all she said was “I am” And then proceeded to work on her computer instead of getting him set up in his pedicure chair. He sat there for a few minutes while I verbally told him that I was not even close to having my nails completed, and I didn’t think that I would even be done by the time he would be finished his pedicure. After being ignored for a few more minutes, We shared a text message to each other agreeing that we would not move forward with our pedicure appointment and that I would just finished with my nail appointment so at that time he walked out. (Even at this point, the owner did not acknowledge anything that was going on. She did not in fact, even take her eyes off her computer). At this time, my nail tech started to paint my nails, which when taken out of the oven had bubbles in the shellac so after doing half my hand, I asked the tech to take it off and that I would just do a solid colour instead of French because clearly that polish was no good, which I was then told that they do not have shellac in the salon at all (which is absolutely ridiculous because every single person I know that gets their nails/toenail done get shellack). After her aggressively scrubbing the French tips off my nails, I asked her if I could speak with the owner because I no longer had patience to sit there to complete my nails. She then started to cry, which I did feel very bad about and stood up and walked to the back area as I approached the front desk, where when I explained my frustration to the owner, she offered me complementary nails for the day, which obviously should have been expected since I was walking out with Unfinished nails after two hours of being in the salon. I run a small business myself, and there is absolutely no way that I would have sat back as an owner, listening to one of my customers express so much frustration and just simply ignore it and lose a customer which would have put hundreds of dollars in my pocket every month if I had just paid a little bit more attention and not let them have such a horrible experience in my establishment. Like I said to her face, it’s an absolutely gorgeously decorated salon, but the business is run absolutely terribly and the nail techs have absolutely no idea what they are doing. We live in the area and like I said, we would’ve spent a lot of money there as my husband and I get pedicures every two weeks and I get my nails done every three weeks , and we are extremely good tippers, but unfortunately, they will never see us in that salon ever again.

Super cute interior, definitely a go-to in town. Everything is cute and make me feels like I'm being pampered. Great service. The bar is a fun touch.

I recently booked my gf and I for facials and massages and was not disappointed. The staff went above and beyond. A nice little added bonus was the delicious drinks we had afterwards at their fully stocked bar. We'll definitely be back before we head off on our vacation.

I am so impressed with this beauty bar, thank you for being so accomodating and professional. I had facial and enjoyed every moment of it. I have been to every salon in town, nothing compares to this. My new spot- sweet spot ?
