While some have experienced issues with the phone number not working, leading to poor customer service, many members still find the gym to be a great value with reasonable membership costs. The gym tends to be busy, but there are usually enough amenities and equipment available. Planet Fitness also offers additional services such as showers, locker rooms, tanning, and massage facilities, including a Hydro Bed and Massage Chair. The staff is generally friendly, but some members have noted that they can be busy talking to each other and may not always notice when assistance is needed. The gym is described as well-equipped, with a good layout and a variety of machines. Many members enjoy the 24-hour access, which allows for flexible workout times. Some customers have suggested that an expanded selection of free weights and additional machines would improve the experience. Parking is convenient due to the gym’s location next to the mall, and having access to Booster Juice for a pre-workout smoothie is a popular perk. I really enjoy training at this Planet Fitness location, the equipment and atmosphere are great. However, it would be extremely helpful if the gym could extend its operating hours on Fridays and Saturdays until 10:00 PM. Many members, including myself, would highly appreciate having that extra time for our workouts. Hope you consider this request. Thank you!
Good price, and friendly staff. But in comparison of other planet fitness, such as Kamloops, it's poorly designed with a log wasted space, less tanning facilities, smaller shower/ change room area, huge lack of equipment (including only 4 Smith machines in awkward locations), and equipment often out of order for long lengths of time, I'm beginning to rethink my membership and looking into other locations, even if more costly.
Id like to suggest a survey for the current members on hours of operation when not 24hr. Closing at 9pm on Friday is ridiculous and 7pm sat/sun is way to early. Id vouch to work those days just to stay open longer. Certainly most members would agree. Consensus says? Talk to me
