“This was my first tattoo, and it meant a lot. I was honouring my dog, Lark, who passed recently. The story behind it is a bit heavy, but Benny handled it in the best possible way. He didn’t pry, just gently made space for it. I felt seen, not judged, which really mattered given the full context.

He showed me the design, and it was perfect. Honestly, it looked exactly like what I’d pictured in my head, just better. I’m not much of an art person, but he pulled the feeling right out of my mind.

As for the actual session - Benny was kind, calm, and very dialled. He checked in often, read how I was doing, and offered breaks when I needed them. Made the whole thing feel way more chill than I expected.

My thing (as a first timer) was if it was worse than the dentist, then it’d live up to what I expected.

It was not worse than the dentist. It hurt, but talking with Benny made it better.

If you’re on the fence about booking with him, especially if it’s a personal piece or you’re nervous - do it. He’s talented, easy to be around, and clearly cares about getting it right. I left with a tattoo I’m so stoked about - Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.“
