I felt the clinic over-promised results and rushed the procedure. Looking back the consultation felt like a sales pitch. My full medical history, including a recent related surgery was incorrectly noted on file, and deep venous assessment wasn’t done before EVLT. Post-procedure, my swelling and pain worsened instead of improving. I would caution anyone to get a thorough second opinion from a vascular surgeon. After the procedure I was referred to a local vascular surgeon who noted this procedure was not necessary.

For laser vein and sclerotherapy specifically: I had serious varicose veins and the treatment did work for the veins. Two issues that are upsetting: 1) I was not informed prior to starting this $7000 process that I would be expected to go in yearly for the rest of my life afterward. I find that hugely dishonest and not a surprise to be saved for my last treatment. 2) I have discolouration on both calves that looks like deep bruising. I was told several times it would fade in 18months. It hasn’t. (I have since tattooed over). This was touted as SUPERIOR aesthetically to the surgical option. Not my experience

I thought I was referred to a vein specialist, apparently she is only a specialist if your veins are ugly, not if they cause you health problems. Do not recommended for actual health related issues.

Doctor will recommend evlt as long as bare minimum thresholds are met. Definitely seek a second opinion if you have recommended a procedure from this shady clinic

Update: I have been going to Dr. Bentley since 2019. I have always been treated well by staff members. I continue to receive excellent care. While they do offer cosmetic services, it is clear that they are not about gimmicks. They provide honest assessments with no pressure. I recently inquired about their skincare products. I was pleasantly surprised with the price. I had previously assumed the products would be very expensive, many hundreds of dollars. Their prices aren't drug store prices, but neither are they ultra expensive.
The experience with Dr. Bentley and her team was very positive and professional. The staff and Dr. Bentley welcomed questions. Going into the procedure, I had confidence in the expertise of all the staff members. It's clear that the emphasis is on medical excellence and Dr. Bentley has hired the right people for her team.

I have had spider and varicose veins for approximately 20 years and have seen several vascular surgeons. The only suggested treatments were to wear full length compression stockings every day or vein stripping, which I did not do. In the last few years my legs would throb, ache, feel heavy and tired, especially when I stood for a long time. My doctor gave me a referral to the Lakeshore Vein clinic. The initial assessment was very thorough and informative and the staff were friendly and professional. Dr. Bentley advised that my treatment option would be VenaSeal. The procedure was painless and I felt so comfortable during the entire process. The staff were amazing and I loved playlist which was a nice distraction. Four months later and my legs look and feel great. This has been life changing! I can sit and stand for long periods of time, I feel like walking more and hello shorts and dresses again. I would highly recommend Dr. Bentley and her staff at the Lakeshore Vein clinic!
