Steve and his staff provided excellent care for our 89 year old father. They went out of their way to meet our needs and gave us peace of mind knowing my dad was in such good hands! I would recommend them highly.

Steve and his team of caregivers at Just Like Family stood head and shoulders above all the other home care service providers we have interacted with in the North Okanagan. My 92 yr old father fell and broke his hip and we needed full time 24/7 care in his own home. He also had dementia which made the situation even trickier.Steve showed up immediately and did a thorough in-home inspection to ensure his staff would be safe, met with me and my dad to fully understand his needs, carefully assessed the entire situation, and found us the perfect match (including overnight care). I am very grateful that Just Like Family Home Care was available to support me when I was in a crisis. I had broken my shoulder and I could not take care of myself, I lived in a reclining chair for 8 weeks.The day after my injury, my husband contacted Interior Health and he was told it would be 3 weeks before they could send a home care aid.We called a number of private home care service providers like the Nurse Next Door but the wait list was 3-4 months.After 3weeks Interior Health sent a home care aid to feed me lunch and she was late.
