Just picked up my truck today… 180K regular routine maintenance, new tires, brakes, alignment… the list was LONG. (And let’s be honest, it added up!) Anyone who knows me can attest to just how picky I am about who touches my truck… and while I’ve been extremely happy with my previous service department, I needed the financing options that Midas offers for repairs. I went in skeptical… but gave the Duncan team the benefit of the doubt. I left my truck for an hour for a quick inspection (already knowing a bit of what was going on) and when I came back for the report there were clear photos and detailed explanations of the work that was recommended and the work that would be upcoming but not necessary to complete right away. The tires I chose were almost $400 less than another shop, and after calling around for quotes from other trusted repair shops it became clear that Midas was the best deal. All the work was either the same or less than other quotes and the team didn’t mess around. Figuring on at least 8 hours of shop time, the guys had it done in 6. I’m extremely impressed with the overall service, the quality of the repairs, and the honesty of the team there. When I was expecting the “upsell” of parts, they didn’t even try. They asked what I used my truck for and recommended parts that would fit our lifestyle. They explained why more expensive ones were unnecessary, and why cheaper ones may not be the best way to go. All in, I was treated fairly and with the utmost respect… all while still having humor and fun. Thank you to the whole team!!! I want to name names, but I forgot to write them down and now my mind is a sieve… so hopefully they’ll comment here! See you in 6500kms for the next oil change!
