RONA Coquitlam (Austry) is a spacious home improvement store with a wide selection of products for renovations. The staff, including Angela, are known for their friendliness, helpfulness, and willingness to go the extra mile to assist customers. One notable feature is the color area, where customers can create their desired color in just a few minutes. While there may be limited selection on certain items, the staff is often able to help find alternative solutions. Store hours are convenient for early morning shopping needs.
Well stocked and online quantities are accurate. There is a good outdoor/garden centre that is easy to overlook. Their display area is constantly being updated and staff is helpful. It’s a Rona.
I had an awesome experience at this RONA! The customer service was absolutely exceptional — everyone I spoke to was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to help. They went out of their way to make sure I found exactly what I needed and even offered helpful suggestions. It’s so refreshing to see a team that truly cares about their customers. Huge thanks to the staff for making my visit such a positive one — I’ll definitely be coming back!
The store is not very inspiring, and you can feel it amongst the staff as well. None of the staff greeted us nor offered assistance. The cashiers were busy chatting with each other.
Products were not organized and prices are much higher than Home Depot or Amazon. Not sure how these guys are staying afloat...
