The people at the reception are polite and seem to try to help you with everything, but when you’re training and a cleaning vacuum starts buzzing right next to you or at your feet, and the cleaning staff don’t realize their mistake, it’s unpleasant.

Isabel was my personal trainer and I absolutely love her. Every session first thing she'd do is check in with me, ask me how I'm doing and how my day/home life has been. I absolutely love Isabel for kicking my butt metaphorically speaking, being an inspiration and motivating me to better myself. Isabel taught me so much during our session from proper diet to proper posture and the type of workout I need to reach my goals and I plan to make myself and Isabel proud as I continue to work hard to achieve my goals.

Thank you Isabel for everything I appreciate you, the time you spent teaching me, torturing me (its and inside joke between us) and motivating me to be healthier.

Seraphina has been my personal trainer since last summer and working with her has been transformative. She’s helped me build strength, lose fat, but most importantly, she's helped me gain the confidence that I can continue improving myself physically. Her personality shines through in every session; even on days when she’s tired, she gives 100% to her clients. I especially value the moments when she makes me laugh and shares pieces of her life with me, often at times when I need it most. I love ranting with her about relationships and gossiping about other people at the gym. Seraphina is incredibly intuitive; she pays close attention to both my mental and physical state. On days when I’m exhausted, she adjusts the workout to fit my energy level while still keeping me on track. I know I still have a long journey ahead, but with Seraphina’s dedication, guidance, and encouragement, I’m confident I’ll get there.

I’ve been training with Seraphina for the past three months, and I am so grateful for the progress I’ve made in such a short amount of time. With her guidance, I’ve lost 13 pounds, significantly improved my posture, and built much more strength. I really enjoy training with her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great personal trainer.

Especially love how big the women’s section is, I feel very comfortable. Can’t wait to try out some of the classes that they have to offer!

I wasn't sure if I should share this but it has been an uncomfortable experience that's been on my mind for days so I will share. I usually use the women's section of the gym and last time I went to the gym, there was a transgender woman in the locker room. I respect all people and want to be mindful of everyone but this person was in the locker room with only a thong on and showed male genitalia barely covered. It wasn't just for a short moment either, this person stayed in the locker room like this using their phone standing up near the lockers by entrance and the mirrors for a good 40 minutes. The behaviour was what was weird and I'm not sure if I feel comfortable using this gym anymore as I only come here for the women's only section. I hope the gym can continue to be inclusive but also enforce certain courtesy rules so everyone can feel respected without feeling uncomfortable.

    PERSONAL TRAINING is financial trap

I’d like to share my friend Eltun’s experience with GoodLife Fitness’ Personal Training service. I was planning to sign up based on his recommendation, but after hearing what he went through, I completely changed my mind.

This service may look supportive at first, but in reality, it’s a financial trap. Once you sign the contract, you’re locked in for a full year — even if you need to pause for personal reasons, travel, or health issues. There’s no option to cancel, not even for a single month.

Before you sign up, please think twice. The system doesn’t care about your situation, it only follows its “policy.”

Plenty of equipment, dry and steam sauna are great.

Be careful — Personal Training program is a real trap!

Before joining the program, understand that this is not a program built on understanding, it’s actually a financial trap. Everything looked great at the beginning. But over time, I realized that this system does not consider the customer’s flexibility or life circumstances. I had to go to another city for two months for work and wanted to pause my training temporarily, but it was impossible. I called many times, met with the manager in person, but nothing changed. Every two weeks, $447 (included tax) is automatically withdrawn from my account, and if you want to cancel, you must pay 15% of the total amount (around $1,500). This is not just a fitness program, it’s a financial trap.
Because in this system, there is no understanding — only “policy.” If you have work, need to travel, or simply want to take a short break, no one will understand you. Don’t believe what any employee says, they will only tell you one sentence: That’s our policy.
