I am super happy with how supportive Tara was in the 1:1 sessions with my reactive Australian Shepherd. There was a lot of information (that was overwhelming at times) but Tara offered a lot of encouragement, and was able to really build my confidence in helping my dog manage his fears. Our last session with Tara was a couple of months ago and I’m really proud of how far my dog and I have come with Tara’s help! We also did the good manners class with Tara and that provided us a good foundation for the home environment. I highly recommend DogWorks!

I started coming here for Agility a few years ago during the pandemic and it has been awesome. I came from another facility and initially was quite nervous we wouldn't fit in as the initial application required a demonstration video but it was fine and more to make sure we were registered for the correct Agility skill level. During the pandemic they followed Public Health Orders and always ensured safety was maintained for dogs and trainers alike. My dog and I were made to feel very welcome and it has been really great training both privately and in group classes. The group class community is very positive and encouraging - people clap for each other, cheer each other on or even trade videos of each other's runs. We also laugh at the silly things our dogs do from time to time. The instructor I've been primarily working with is Elisha and she has an incredible sense of humour, is an encouraging coach and is quick to identify errors and recommend adjustments. All the dogs love her as she often has the best treats for the most challenging obstacles. They have a good registration system in place where if you already have a spot in the class then you have a reserved space for the next series. Private lessons are popular also. Staff are very communicative and kind with questions. Bonus is that their payment system is through a business version of PayPal so I feel my credit card information is safe. I'd highly recommend this place if you're thinking about taking your dog here for training.

Both my dogs have done agility here, my older one for over 2 years now starting in foundations and my younger went right into sport puppy. They love it so much, they know exactly what day of the week it is and when it is agility day and are excited to go the whole time. We have had multiple trainers both for full courses and as substitutes and everyone is great at what they do and love seeing the dogs improve and have fun!
