My dog had bloody diarrhea, so naturally I was a bit freaked out. I called Central Park Animal Hospital, and they booked me an appointment right away. A couple of injections, some meds to take home, and he was back to normal within the week. Everyone at CPAH was super nice - thanks!

Called to ask about how much shots cost and the man told me to call tomorrow because they are closed. There was still 10mins, if they cant even share prices properly they probably would not do a good job anyways.

Something was VERY obviously wrong with my dog and we brought him to this place. He wasn't able to walk straight, wobbly head, threw up TWICE there. The lady assistant saw the whole thing and said she needed to grab the 'doctor.' When doc came, saw him for 5 seconds then said nothing is wrong with him, he looks fine. We, including his assistant, told him he's wobbly, threw up, he then watched him for a few more seconds (didn't touch him or exam him physically at all) and still insist nothing is wrong with him. The assistant said again that something is wrong with the dog then he said well, there Is nothing we can do, we don't have x-ray, or other machines to test him. Told us we need to take him to the emergency. At that point we figured this doc was no help and was ready to go. The assistant was nice enough to give us information about the emergency centres (we are new dog owners, don't know this kind of thing). As we were walking out, the doc didn't forget to tell us that after he's all better, we can bring him back for his vaccines! Well, if that's all you can do, please do not call your place a 'animal hospital.' it's merely a clinic at best. Suffice to say, will not return.

I just had my hamster euthanized here. The staff was extremely gentle, thorough and caring. They did an examination and located a spot of cancer on her that we never noticed before. They were extremely gentle in sedating her prior to euthanizing. They handled her with care and were petting her and keeping her comfortable the entire time. Very humane. I highly recommend Central Park animal hospital and would gladly bring my pets here again.

Doc doesnβt speak English. Paid $50 for consultation, but every time I asked the question - doctor would struggle to answer.

The staff is friendly, the place is clean but outdated, which is fine. I got recommended this clinic and after 2 months of having my pup and using their services, I will be moving to another clinic.
It is very hard to understand the doctor. Usually the vet tech will translate back and forth. Zero interest in helping new pet owners. No questions about food or pup's needs. But the last drop when I came panicking as the pup didn't have any energy and lost interest in food. Despite having an appointment, it was more important for the Dr. to chat with previous client. Then estimate for $550 where everything is needed. Then another estimate for $370 the next day for two stool tests. $260 in first appointment was for blood test, I didn't get report about it a week later, this is how urgent it was. The stool test would be ready in 5 days, when my puppy is back to normal. Absolute cash grab! Maybe vet tech wanted to say something but clearly were trained to bite their tongue.

We came in looking for a specific food for our cat as our regular vet had run out. They were kind and helpful to match us with what we needed.
