I stopped by this barbershop briefly this morning and was honestly impressed by the atmosphere. Even in the short time I was there, you could tell this place treats people like family. The team was welcoming, kind, and very professional. They even offered me water while I stopped by for a quick second, which was a small gesture but really stood out.
You could see the customers enjoying themselves and feeling at home, which says a lot about the culture of the shop. I recently moved to Arizona from the East Coast and I googled a black owned barbershop in my area. I was more than pleased to when I came across Mr. Tommie’s barbershop. He made me feel welcome right away, and even though he was fully booked, he found a way to fit me in with one of his barbers by the name of Alyssa. Alyssa was amazing and I will definitely be back to see her. Everything about my experience was absolutely amazing.
