Love these folks! Not only do they have the expertise and knowledge - they are a fun bunch!
I highly recommend Physio Shop for physical therapy for many reasons. In the past two and a half months I have always found each therapist I’ve worked with to be positive, supportive and encouraging. They greet clients with a smile and ask how we are, and then listen and address any concerns with useful exercises and stretching for that day. They use a plethora of activities to help after surgery, which I can replicate at my home gym. My questions were always satisfactorily answered, and their extensive knowledge helped me to better work out on my own between sessions. They are all wonderful and I am grateful my surgeon highly recommended them.
I'm 49. I had my first sports injury in my life in early June, 2024. Fully torn ACL. I knew I was going to need extensive rehab, so I looked around for a local place that I liked and started prehab. After a couple of visits to other facilities (Not Physio Shop), I then tried out the Physio Shop as it was recommended by my surgeon and I had a great surgeon who I respected. What I like about the Physio shop is the staff, first off. They are always upbeat and very professional. An ACL tear surgery is an hour or so. Rehab is months and months and months, so I wanted a place that I liked going. They fit the bill. So far I've worked with PTs JR, Aly, Andy, Morgan, Ruben, Patrick, Tracy, and Carrisa along with assistants and interns (not sure which is which) Emily, Amya, Alex, Kyle and Matthew who are working on becoming PTs (Not sure I spelled all those correctly). I like all their different approaches. I just take any time slot that's available, so I get random PTs, but I like it that way and I have the option of choosing only one person to work with if I want. They are all so good, it's too tough a choice. Through their expertise and combined with Dr. Prickett's handiwork as a surgeon, I'm right at 6 weeks post op and I'm very pleased with my progress. The staff at the Physio Shop assesses me every time I walk in and they tweak their approach and add a few new exercises. They consistently push me pretty hard and it shows in my progress. I fully trust their guidance and feel like I'm in the right hands. And they put up with my personality, which they deserve 5 stars for in itself. ☺☺☺
