REVIEW Updated NEGATIVE 🌟 .... Dr. Weimin K. Hu MD, PhD. " Specialists In Dermatology PLLC " & Xiangping Fang NP-C Here we go I'll try to be brief! 2/1/2024 at Specialists in Dermatology, 4 shave biopsies were done, I requested deeper and wider with the history that I have. I was told they only do shave biopsies. Dr. Fang and the male nurse nervous... circled 4 spots. They had me sign consent to remove afterwards for 3 spots. When I went to get dressed, I saw one spot on my leg still circled not biopsied. I called them back in. I didn't sign for that one. I went on my way. Results were supposed to be in, in 14 days. It was 29 days when I finally got a call from them. I had called days before too. Results in... Neck Moderate, upper back Mild to Moderate, lower back hip Mild, Thigh Okay. What happened was, the Dermatologist only sent 3 of the 4 samples off. They wrote in my online portal file, " ? Biopsied " next to the photo of my Thigh spot they had forgotten. Also my notes stated that my scalp was checked and it wasn't as well as the reason that I was there was because of my concern for all the moles on my arms also false. I went because it had been 2 years since my annual whole body check. (Bandaids were used that were far from sensitive for a dermatologist office and I had a rash on each spot, due to latex and adhesive allergy, which was documented) come to find out these bandaids use extra adhesive to make sure they stayput. I was scheduled for surgery. They can only do one spot at a time unless they are close to each other. Well technically the Mild and Okay spots don't need to be redone, but they say the Mild one does need to be. I've had 23 biopsies including redos.... not once since 1998? have I had a mild rebiopsoed. However they can do my shoulder back and lower hip back the same time... huh? So, I made an appt for Wednesday 13th (Neck) and Thursday 14th (upper back). I ended up canceling the upper back because the staff member Carolina never told me the location of the procedure. It wasn't where I had originally gone it was clear on the other other side of town. I had them schedule both for Wednesday, and they noted in the file that I'd schedule 3rd spot at a later time. The place has young adults handling the job for the MD that actually does the slicing. When I was greeted by 2 people, I had my temperature taken, I was asked if I had to use the bathroom. I was brought to my tiny room. I was asked about my medical history. I had to repeat 3 times that I adopted and didn't have medical history, along with the regular questions I had already filled out on forms. I have an adhesive allergy and latex, that was noticed this time. I asked questions about if I was having stitches, if they were doing both spots at the same time. Yes, stitches, no only 1 spot this visit. I asked lots of questions, and spoke to the Dr before and after. The young man Anthony and his female partner spoke in spanish to each other off and on and English. They he numbed the area he said each time "3,2,1 poke" this happened about 6-7 times before the area was finally numb. After the doctor came in and cut out the chunk that was supposedly 1.6cm the young Anthony said, "you will want stitches to close up that crater". Someone else came in and did the stitches and measured the cut and told me how many of each per my request. She was also the one that checked the insurance and said if I wanted both done today I would have to pay out of pocket for the second one or come in a different day. Once the stitching was done they were going to cover the wound with some fancy adhesive tape stuff, I said no due to my allergy. Paper tape was used the it was covered nicely. Then the doctor came in to see the stitches. So she uncovered the area and then covered it back up. I told her about my allergy. She gave me a small roll of paper tape and I asked for a piece of the fancy tape to see if I was allergic. I also asked her to look at my back. She did, lots of freckles lo
