The Dr is wonderful, let's you know how the surgery went. The staff are just fabulous, caring and so understanding. They work with you on getting what you need to get procedures done. The Dr called after the surgery, and the staff updated me later in the evening and sent pics of my baby girl watching 101 Dalmations! I would recommend them to anyone in need of surgical services for their pet!
My goldendoodle had TPLO surgery with Dr Shelley. Everything has gone as expected with the surgery. Dr Shelley, the Vet Techs & the rest of the staff have been wonderful. They prepared us for what to expect during her recovery & offered suggestions on how to handle. The entire is well trained in the veterinary aspect of their jobs but also in customer service. I can’t say enough positive things about our experience with Southwest Veterinary Surgical Services here in Tucson, AZ. We brought in our dog, Ella, a 14 year-old Chihuahua mix to have a sarcoma tumor removed from the carpal joint on her right fore leg. Dr. Bert Shelley had been recommended by our regular veterinarian at Adobe Veterinary Center and also a personal friend of ours who is a practicing vet here in Tucson.
