I brought in three thick, queen-sized comforters to be laundered. Shaffer completed the job in just 5 days. Best of all, they accommodated my request for fragrance-free detergent, andno fabric softener or dryer sheets - very much appreciated by this allergy sufferer! The comforters were packaged in zipper bags that make for easy storage.
Oh my word !!! The best experience!! My neighborhood dry cleaners closed. I took several items to Shaffer. I was greeted as soon as I entered the shop. The lady that was assisting me was VERY helpful and friendly.. she noticed several spots on a shirt my son was to wear to a funeral .. and told me what was best for the other items that I needed to be cleaned. I had not noticed these spots. I picked up the items today and was anxious about the white shirt. It looks fantastic!! Whoever worked on this shirt saved me $125 since this is what the cost of the shirt is today. Thank you very much. I have been a customer of Shaffer Dry Cleaners for years and they have always provided excellent service. Recently, I brought in several articles of clothing to be laundered, as well as two large duvet’s with several matching pillow covers. Myra was extremely helpful in making sure all the pieces were properly marked, paying attention to every detail. When I picked up the order, Myra checked every item, making sure all the pieces were there and accounted for. She was friendly, efficient and you can tell she cares about the customer's needs. I give this place an A+ on every level!
