Our A/C unit that had worked fine stopped working. It was late afternoon and S&S told us their day rates and overtime rates. We elected to have someone come out that evening rather than waiting overnight. Richard came out and went over the unit, after doing several checks he located the problem--a not very obvious short where the insulation on a wire had rubbed off and the wire had shorted against a copper tube. He fixed the problem, and stayed around to verify everything was working OK before leaving. My wife and I are grateful to be able to sleep in a cool home.
