(5/21/2025) Valerie did a superb job of bleaching and coloring my short pixie cut. I couldn't stop smiling since she gifted my new hair the perfect color! and she did it all in under two hours! She is an artisan who I hope remains in Tucson for many years. My family absolutely loves my new hair color and style. Also I bought some adorable earrings made by Donnafrog that I adore and they go well with my new look. Thank you so much R Salon and Valerie (aka Red)!

Donna (owner and stylist) is an amazing human being and very talented and skilled at what she does! Not only is she good with hair and very knowledgeable, but you can tell this business is her baby by the amount of care and attention to detail she has for it and for the quality of work she provides to her clients. I appreciate that she really takes pride in making sure her clients are satisfied and feel good about their hair. The R Salon is a wonderful, clean, positive environment and I will definitely be going back to see Donna!

Let me explain something, each stylist is individually working for themselves and just happen to work at this salon. I went to someone three times and each time left unhappy, the third I was left with a complete mess. A color correction that 5 different people quoted me 400 or more. The stylist had blocked me and I was completely shattered. I decided to reach out to the owner at this point. When I tell you she apologized and completely fixed my hair, she's a god send! She fixed a mess that was not hers and did a hell of a job! She gave me exactly what my reference photo was to begin with. She was an angel and I learned that this business stands to this day because of the wonderful owner. She was pleasant and did not make me feel like what I wanted was out of this world and she treated me oh so so amazing. Gonna insert before and after pictures now! Please come to this salon, there are so many amazing stylist and the energy is blissful!
