Pete's Shoe Repair is a helpful and knowledgeable service. The owner operator is amiable and provides quick and affordable work. He is honest about what is possible and not possible. Repairs are often finished in a short time, and the owner is passionate about his work. He offers free advice and has even fixed shoes for a minimal charge. Customers appreciate his expertise and friendly service.
Haven’t went to pick up yet but paid $85 for a resole of some $300 boots. Friendly and closes at 5:15pm but on the way home and easy to get to. I parked up the road and walked back to the shop.
He saved several pairs of good shoes that had lost their heels. He figured out a creative way to deal with some that had some with an unusual heel initially.
I'm so glad to be able to refresh and keep using good shoes rather than waste what does still work to buy new. This place is a great find.
The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable. I brought my shoe in for squeaking. He checked it, told me to wet the sole, and it worked. No charge. Would definitely bring to him any shoe problems I have in the future.
