They were considerate of our work from home set up, prioritizing windows in the bedroom and office to minimize disruption to work. Whenever they hit a hiccup, such as our old garden window or another window being tucked behind our backyard gate wall, he told us the exact plan and how it affected the schedule. We felt comfortable every step of the way. The final result has already created a drastic improvement within our home, and adds a clean, pleasing aesthetic to the outside. We have our back sliding door to replace still, and I know Olander's will be exactly who I call.
Absolutely amazing long-time local business! We got personal care from the owner, Patrick Olander, from start to finish. Price!!! We had previously gotten an outrageous estimate from a national chain of nearly $40,000 to replace windows just in our living room and one window in our dining room. Olander's did the entire house (living & dining rooms, bedrooms, kitchen, bath) with quality windows for $19,000! Despite that it was in the middle of COVID, they showed up on the appointed day and finished quickly. Patrick helped with the installation himself. My wife had heard horror stories from friends about how window installation makes a lot of dust, so we covered all the furniture in the house. Not necessary! Olander's crew was super neat, didn't get any dust or dirt anywhere, and picked up at the end of each day. We had been dreaded the process, but it went so smoothly and they were so friendly, that our dog Lily and we missed them when they went. We felt like we had made new friends. If only all contractors were like this!
