After one of the “big guys” quote something like $2,500 to recharge my coolant and replace the fan motor, I called Mission, who sent Scott to my home. Scott inspected the unit and told me it needed 2 pounds of coolant and the fan did not need to be replaced and still had some life in it. I was charged $257, only the necessary work was done and Scott didn’t attempt to upsell me on a “service plan”. When I asked him about the possibility of replacing my AC possibly with a mini-split, he explained that system to me, without talking down to me and without quoting an outrageous price and trying to scare me into getting it. I am thoroughly pleased.
Great service! Didn't try to upsell or exaggerate problems. I had an easy fix that didn't take a lot of time to repair and the tech took his time to explain what he was doing and how it affected my system. I actually asked for information on a service agreement because when I explained what the previous company that came out (referred by my home warranty company for a summer check up) suggested to the tune of $4000 he told me what was recommended was not necessary or recommended by the manufacturer of the equipment. With that kind of honesty I will leave all of my HVAC needs in the hands of Mission Heating & Cooling. Thank you Mark!
It was a pleasure working with this company from the setting up of the service appointment to the reminders and then The actual service appointment. My technician Scott Arrived within the window they told me. He was very friendly. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. He helped me avoid an inevitable future problem that would’ve occurred later this summer. It’s great working with a smaller family owned business that takes pride in their business and reputation. A friend referred them to me and they have used them on several of their properties for years.
