Dr. Huether personally calls each patient the evening after their procedure to check on their status, which patients say they have never experienced with any other doctor. I was referred to AZ Skin Cancer Surgery Center for a Mohs procedure on the little finger of my right hand. Since the biopsy was done at a dermatology office, a similar lesion developed on the long finger of the same hand. Without hesitation, Dr Huether added a biopsy of the new lesion to the previously scheduled Mohs procedure. Subsequently, the new lesion proved also to be SSC, so he added a second Mohs procedure to my current visit. This obviated the need for my having to make another dermatology appointment, and the delay that would have created. In addition, considering the time necessary for microscopic pathologic evaluation of the excised tissue, the two procedures were completed in very good time. Overall, the visit to AZ Skin Cancer Surgery Center was extremely efficient and a very good experience. I would recommend this clinic, Dr Huether, and his staff unconditionally.
Unfortunately, I am a skin cancer candidate. 4 MOHS surgeries with Doctor Heuther. He is excellent, compassionate and professional. I would say the same about his staff. Office is comfortable and I can’t recommend highly enough.
