We had some problems with internet and printer drivers, needed an in home tech. We used Joel at LJJM Tech (recommended by someone on Next Door, he is listed in Thumbtack), he was prompt, professional, and walked us through the process. I thought my $1,200 Acer Predator Helios laptop was destined for the trash heap. Only 4 years old... what a shame. I brought it into Geek Squad and they gave me a quote of $1,054 to install a new motherboard. I was told it was a corrupted bios, however, they don't do microsoldering and could only replace the entire motherboard. I was now on a mission to find someone here in Tucson that had the skill level to remove a motherboard and microsolder a new, preprogrammed Bios Chip onto the board (the chips are only $22 from the Bios Store on ebay).
