Kahuna Renovation and Home Repair LLC.Jose and his team of craftsmen have finished three projects at my home to my complete satisfaction. Two bath remodels and front entry door replacement. The baths required removal and replacement of major plumbing, electrical, flooring, drywall, painting and tile work. The front twin doors were replaced with a single 8’high by 40”wide steel and glass door. This project required building a new wall with dry walling and outside stucco work. The stucco and painting blended perfectly with the existing exterior design. Professional people, quality work at a fair price. I have recommended Kahuna to my family and friends. Thank you Jose.

Jose came out exactly when he said he would and gave us a prompt, accurate estimate. We had drywall repair and interior painting done after serious roof leaks. They were very clean, professional and did a great job. I have already recommended them to other neighbors!

I really like Jose and his staff. They are fun, friendly, tidy, and very respectful. I had an outside stucco project done by them last summer.Unfortunately, the work has not held up due to all the crazy rain and severe weather.I truly believe that Kahuna is a reliable contractor, but perhaps, they're too busy with other jobs and need to increase their staff because they are too popular!! I'm hoping they can get my problem fixed!

I had these guys repair my roof and some damaged drywall. They don't have a clue what they are doing. The first big rainstorm my roof leaked worse then before they came. The drywall they replaced pulled off the wall at the molding they failed to properly attach. Their warranty is worthless as they came out to look at the drywall, admitted that it was their issue, promised to send a crew out to repair it then never heard from them again. And to date they refuse to return phone calls. These guys are simply awful!!!

Jose, came out to give me a estimate to get my house painted and the price was GREAT!!! Now that its finished I couldn't be happier and next his guys will paint my patio furniture. JC was the painter but would highly recommend Kahuna Renovations for any job!!!!

All employees were lazy, rude, and did not care about what I wanted. They do not care about their customers and only try to shove expensive options down your throat. Horrible experience, do not go here for ANY work.

I have used Kahuna Renovations twice now, the first time was amazing. I live in a brick home and wanted to add a door where there was once a window, outstanding work was done and completed in a timely manner. I decided to get another quote for a job that consisted of 2 bathrooms (adding a door to the pool) and a laundry room extension. I was able to get Jose thereafter about a week for a quote. I went over the details he took notes and measurements I explained to him that the only thing that I did not want to be done was the tile work. This is where I feel some confusion began, from that Jose interpreted that I said I did not want them doing tile, electric, and plumbing( I will get to that later in my review). After several delays and bad customer service of trying to get Jose to call me back for a start date, we signed the estimate. Half was paid upfront and work was scheduled, after a few long delays they began work. The crew was the same as the crew that did the original job I had done, They do great work and I have no complaints about the workmanship. There was stuff that I would say as they were working on what I thought I had made clear to Jose for the bid (the hole they cut and put the door in, it was going to be trimmed out with stucco and not redone with the brick-like the first door they put in mind you there is no stucco on my house at all). That was corrected (for a charge) There were a couple of vanities that were taken out and moved over and that consisted of moving plumbing and the light to be centered (additional cost). The Laundry room was the biggest surprise to me, the job consisted of moving the washer and dryer to the right side of the wall and making a walkway or basically making a closet that was just big enough for a washer and dryer and enlarging it into some garage workspace so that a washer, dryer, refrigerator, and folding area would be the new laundry room. Well, he did not include moving the electric and plumbing in his quote so there was another additional charge for that. II would warn future customers to make sure you read the quote line by line on work that will be done. So a $4021 job ended up costing me $5962 Customer service 1star (management) workmanship 4.5 star schedule 2.5 star Jose told me I should have read the estimate and he did not charge me for everything after I told him my concerns with the final bill. I am the customer and do not remodel homes every day, he is the contractor and should know that if a wall that a washer and dryer is on is being removed it would be obvious that plumbing and electric would need to be addressed, or if a vanity is being moved a foot over the light would need to be recentered?
