Very slow system! Long waits, with no idea how long you have to wait. Realize one can’t predict how long customers will tame / need, but I hate going there. Worth it only because the have lower prices. When you get service it is usually very good service, however.

Horrible queuing system with the QR code. Doesn't tell you which position you're in so the wait could be 5 mins or an hour (which in this case it was). The estimate time is inaccurate and doesn't work.
Otherwise staff are friendly. Selection of glasses is limited, and you dont get to select many options for lenses. It is definitely one of the cheaper options with insurance.
Recommend they stick to preset appointments like Costco tire to schedule ahead of time or show the queue position.

I had a severe change in my eyesight after having COVID in May-June 2023 that required a prism be added to both lenses of my prescription, as I was seeing double. An online eyeglass provider was unable to fill the prescription as the prism prescribed was beyond their capability. I had never ordered lenses/frames from COSTCO, but was pleasantly surprised: two members of their staff helped me select a frame appropriate for the prism (which causes the lenses to be much wider at the edges) and my face shape and coloring. Once my glasses arrived, they adjusted them for me and put on different nose pads that keep them from siding down my nose. I have received several compliments... read full review
