About Chuze Fitness
Chuze Fitness provides a friendly and clean gym experience at an affordable price. With a motto of "Less Attitude. More Fitness®," it aims to create an inclusive environment for all fitness levels. The gym features various amenities, including a turf area, free weights, cardio equipment, a cardio cinema, group fitness classes, yoga, team training, and a pool. Members can also enjoy recovery options such as saunas, massage chairs, and compression boot therapy. Many appreciate the value for the price, particularly praising the team training classes and the newly remodeled sauna and steam room. While the gym has a spacious layout and excellent offerings, some reviews mention that new staff may not be as welcoming, which can affect the overall atmosphere. However, the gym is recommended for its great value and amenities, making it a good choice for anyone looking to stay fit and active. Visitors can tour the facility and learn about risk-free, no-commitment memberships or enjoy a free 7-day trial.
I really enjoy this gym because of all the amenities I get for the price I pay. From the cardio and weight equipment, to the hydro massage chairs to the sauna (they just remodeled them) and steam room, plus the tanning beds those all give me my bang for my buck. However, what really puts it over the edge are the team training classes which are basically a version of Orange Theory and they have a hot yoga class(not as hot as a true yoga studio, but does the job). Just those 2 things alone are worth it since an actual studio dedicated to those classes are easily $125+ a month. Overall, the value I get from Chuze is why I recommend it and will keep coming back.
Great gym with lots of space & great amenities but damn.. New staff won't greet to save their life & don't have a very welcoming atmosphere when you walk in nor when you leave. If you can get past that, great gym.
I've been coming to this gym for over a year and half and I thought I'd give some good feedback regarding this Chuze on Oracle/Auto Mall (Across from the Tucson Mall). First Impressions: I've been to the Chuze on Grant/Craycroft for most of my membership outside of the past 1.5 years. That being said, this is by far the biggest Chuze in Tucson, that I know of (Feel free to double check this). It's very spacious and open concept, and I don't feel as cramped as other gyms, so I can appreciate that a lot :). Staff: I don't think I've ever had a day that I went here and not been greeted. Super friendly staff and quite honestly that's pretty refreshing. A simple hello and welcome goes a long way :). Thank you! Cleanliness: I have to admit, Chuze (this location) does a fantastic job of keeping things clean and uptight considering how big this gym is. Kudos! Value: They have 4 memberships, so your standard basic, premium, more, and Chuze Max. The caveat is not all Chuze offer the Max version I believe. The only thing I don't like about the plans is that the basic plan has an annual fee for the most basic entry level. Not a fan. Outside of the plan layout, its pretty affordable for anyone that wants to get active as they have a pretty robust offering to its consumers. Recommendations: If you're someone that likes being active or want to start being active, this place has you covered. While their are other offerings like Planet fitness that fight for the same value, Chuze does offer a bit more on the equipment side of things, and the facilities often seem to be a lot more brighter inside as opposed to other gyms. Can't go wrong here. Extra credit: Be aware, like most commercial gyms, this gym can get VERY packed during peak hours, so make sure to visit a time that makes sense as opposed to the weekends, were it can give a false sense of how busy things can be.
