I was looking for a change, a new challenge in life. Axe Capoeira was the perfect fit. The perfect challenge for strength, conditioning, agility and flexibility. Not only am I learning a martial art, but music, art and culture history as well. The community within Axe Capoeira Tucson is very supportive and encouraging, I would recommend ANYONE at ANY level of fitness to give Axe Capoeira a try. you'll love it, I do!

Capoeira is a complex and challenging discipline, but the instructors will work with you at every level--from total beginner to advanced capoeirista--to unlearn your limits and do things you never thought possible. Studio Axe brings together the history, culture, music, dance, and sport of capoeira into a wonderful supportive community for kids and adults of all backgrounds and abilities. Highly recommended.

I have been training with Axé Capoeira for a little over four years, and it has been a great experience! This martial art is a fantastic workout for many reasons. Teaching balance, discipline, strength, and flexibility, it helps to keep your body and mind in shape. The people and atmosphere of the group are very uplifting and encouraging, everyone wants to see you succeed. Joining this community is one of the best decisions I have made, and I am grateful to be part of an awesome group of people!
