We just started taking our dogs to this vet because they both have health issues that conventional medicine has not been helping with. Unfortunately, Holistic vets are close to non-existent no matter where anyone lives, and Dr. Paula Medler is the only one in Tucson accepting new clients, so I can't compare medication pricing in order to give a good answer on if theirs is reasonable or not. She is willing to take on hard to deal with dogs as long as they're muzzled (and possibly on gabapentin, maybe even trazadone as well if they are extremely bad). Dr. Paula and her team are incredibly attentive and compassionate. They take great care of the animals and make us feel comfortable asking questions, always answering them patiently and without rushing. They never recommend unnecessary tests or services and genuinely focus on helping both pets and their owners. We always feel that our pet's well-being is their top priority.

I had been taking my German Shepherd to another vet office for laser treatments, which gave her an extra year and a half of good quality of life. Even though she never regained use of her back legs, the treatments, along with a cycling air mattress and daily care, helped her stay comfortable and free from pressure sores. When that vet office closed, one of the amazing vet techs who had been instrumental in my dog’s care let me know where she was moving to, and I’m so glad she did.
