About Abrams Public Health Center
Abrams Public Health Center is a great place to get medical care. They accept AHCCCS and are connected with MyChart. The center offers quick appointments, including one-time appointments and booster shots. They also offer COVID-19 vaccinations for children. The staff is friendly and the environment is low-stress.
I put four stars because yes I do love the nurses and staff there and doctors but my problem is that I tell my provider what's going on with me I'm heard very well but when it comes to refills she forgets to do them and doesn't refill sometimes and I have to keep calling or sending messages on my chart for the refills for my health and pain management. it gets annoying. but other than that I love them dearly. They are good to me and very respectful. and patient and understanding. ☺❤
I’ve been a patient here since it was banner Abram’s and the care I’ve received has always been great. Back then, the front desk staff were always very nice and professional and now, you walk in and they’re super loud, gossiping, cussing and will act like you’re not there as you walk in. Not even a hello, won’t even look at you. I usually wait until someone (out of the 5) is ready and calls me over but they’re all staring at their phones, computers or gossiping with each other and won’t acknowledge the patients.
Dr. Matthew Hintzman was very attentive and answered all of my questions. I did not feel rushed like I have experienced at other clinics. The nurse and staff were also very friendly and professional.
Overall a very pleasant experience every time I go in for a check-up at El Rio.
