Contracted for a street solar project. Paid a deposit for the equipment. After months of emails, ABCO Solar, Inc. made no progress moving the project forward. Filed a complaint with the AZ Register of Contractors. The AZ ROC suspended their license.
In 2019 we had ABCO install the solar panels on our roof. Note prior to installation we were informed we needed to have the clay tiles replaced with cement tiles. Once the new roof tiles were installed ABCO sent a crew out to install the solar panels. The crew sent out was quite destructive. Shortly after the install of the solar panels the damage to the roof tiles done by the ABCO crew was discovered by a contractor who was painting the trim on our home. We chose not to leave a negative review because after notifying ABCO we were informed ABCO would pay to have the roofing company return and replace the damaged cement tiles. UPDATE: Solar is being produced, but the solar production stopped recording. Per the company that is monitoring the production we were informed to contact ABCO to have someone check the onsite communication connection and the inverter for possible inverter production. Three (3) phone calls were made to ABCO and we were told someone would contact us. It's over a week since the last call was made and no one from ABCO has responded to our issue. If I could I would leave "NO STARS"
Terrible! Do not use this company. There is nothing PRO about this company. Description of Work: We 'employed' ABCO Solar to install solar panels on our building in 2019. As of this date, the project has not moved forward in any respect. The 39kW system was ordered and paid in advance. My fault, but Shorey seemed to be a good person who can talk a story as we found out. Very unethical. For the past few years, we cannot get in touch with ABCO (Shorey) by telephone or email. I cannot recommend this company. Now there is a fraud charge against them. (Az. Daily Star)
