Sandoval has been great for my son (6) he really enjoys it so far (3-4 months) Mr Garrett is our favorite teacher, he is wonderful with kids this age. Other teachers are usually black belt teenagers but they are good as well. Usually 2-3 teachers every class which helps them get to everyone!

My son (6 yrs) has been going to sandoval for a couple months and he loves it! We tried a place before and he was terrified and wouldn't step foot into class, but at sandoval he is constantly asking when he gets to go back!

we are relatively new to sandoval studio and have been so happy! the student to instructor ratio is awesome. my two boys are in the little dragon class and they have already learned so much. exercise, punches, games, and friends! the studio is clean and bright and the staff is super helpful, communicative and professional.

Sandoval Freestyle Karate is a martial arts school in Tempe, near Chandler. We teach Tempe and Chandler residents mixed martial arts and karate. We have classes for children as young as four years old and classes for beginners and advanced martial artists; kids, teens, and adults are welcome. We are a family-friendly martial arts academy teaching freestyle karate, similar to mixed martial arts. Our instructors blend techniques from disciplines like Kenpo, Taekwondo, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai, giving students exposure to different self-defense techniques.
