Where to start...it has been beyond a headache to deal with this company and its owner. Communication is not high on their agenda, they will communicate work will get completed at a certain point and seem very promising at the start of a project, but it will quickly go downhill from the moment they get paid the first instalment. Materials paid for never showed up to my house, and he left my garden as a complete safety hazard now for 3 months. Please ensure you lock in price with them in writing, prior to him starting the work or you will find yourself in a situation where the price will continue to increase and you are locked in, as the garden has already been taken apart by him. Please ensure you do you due diligence, reviews on Angi, Yelp, Yellow pages will show you he has done this to several other people where he took their money without doing the work. Sergio Mendoza is a dishonest person that nobody really should have to deal with, and should not trust him with any type of project at your house even as simple as maintenance, as he is not licensed to do any of it. If after this review you still feel the need to contract him, do not pay him until he has completed the work to your satisfaction, or pay him something you feel comfortable losing because you will.

If I could give zero stars I would. The owner Sergio is quick to come out and provide a quote, generally same day. However after that you will be chasing him to actually get the work done, IF you are one of the lucky once for which the project is actually completed.

Man, where to start? Sergio honestly seems like a great guy, and the work his guys get around to performing is generally decent. However, after contracting with Sergio to perform in the neighborhood of $20k worth of work, not a single project was actually finished, after over a year. In addition to that, you will not be able to get a hold of Sergio, he simply won't answer his phone. Fortunately, he only collects half up front, so I'd estimate I'm only out 3 or 4 thousand, taking into account the work he did complete. I engaged Sergio and 2 Amigos in August of 2019, for reference, and my last conversation with him was in September 2020, during which he continued to offer his false promises. At this point, I'm just so fed up and frustrated. My advice is to avoid Sergio or 2 Amigos entirely. They are, at best, able to do a yard cleanup, any project more complex than that should be avoided. Save yourself a headache though, and just avoid entirely. To anyone considering using Sergio/2 Amigos, you can see my name on here, a google search should get you to my facebook. Feel free to send me a message there in case you're still considering using 2 Amigos for anything. I don't want anyone else to go through what I've gone through.
