This LA Fitness at McCormick Ranch is so lovely and clean. The pool is actually heated. Nice people. Especially their maintenance lady. Left Scottsdale Rd. LAF because it's often dirty, tired of my teeth chattering in pool. Never even a hello when you come in.

I must say this gym is by far the best in the area. I can tell management does a great job making sure the place is spotless. The free weight equipment and dumbells are my favorite but I'm venturing to some machine weights. There are so many varieties that I don't know where to start (good problem to have)! I haven't seen any worn out seats or padding which tells me they care about the aesthetics. The staff and members are friendly, its just a good atmosphere at this place. Nice gym has a good free weight area,lap pool,basketball court,dry sauna. I don't use the bath facilities much as it's hard to get excited about gym locker areas, they recently added a cardio area with sleds and tires for flipping. There's a few things that they could do better and they seem to be upgrading, I rate 4 stars as I always get a great workout.
