What is a review without giving some simple advice? Do not consider any other custom home design and builder until you meet Scott and Maria, and the Crystal Creek Team.
Every member of their team, including their subcontractors, are incredibly responsive, care about what you think, and especially about the quality of their workmanship. They all genuinely care about the commitment they have made to YOU to build YOUR home. (Cannot speak for others, but for us... they act as if they are building their own home and even spending their own money.)
While we all know a detailed and solid contract is an absolute (which they have), the REAL consideration is how the Builder and the team of professionals treat you as a client, the experience, how they represent you before your HOA and the Design Review Committee, and the level of accountability and trust that they instill as they are building your home. Remember... the contractual relationship that you have entered into with a builder is over an extended period of time. A period of time that will have many challenges and changes in your vision, and expectations (I admit, it was more me than my wife.) It is your custom home, and they know what they must do to meet your expectations. My wife and I were out of State during the entire construction period of our custom home. It went unbelievably smooth every step of the way.
While I echo all of the positive comments made in the other client reviews (i.e., reliable, innovative, responsive, attentive), I want to take a moment to share one last impressive note about Crystal Creek...Once they hand the keys over to you, the relationship does not end. They stand by the workmanship of the custom home that they have built for you. Scott and Maria, Gary our construction superintendent, the team of professionals, remain responsive to this date and treat you as their most important customer.

From the owners to the office staff to the superintendent, the process was transparent, efficient, and professional (even fun!). They really know what they’re doing! The subcontractors expressed genuine care about the quality of their work, and it showed! The house was completed in less time than projected, and the cost was fair. No money was spent which was not first approved by us as the owners. It’s so refreshing to have hired a builder with integrity. We spent months looking for the right contractor for our custom home. Unfortunately, shortly after the foundation was poured and framing had begun, the contractor we originally selected abruptly stopped working on the project and, for personal reasons, was unable to complete our home. My husband and I were devastated when we heard the news. We felt like we had to start the selection process all over again—only this time, finding a contractor was going to be all the more difficult, as we had to find someone who was willing to take on a project mid-stream.
Needless to say, Scott and Maria Nalda and the entire Crystal Creek Builders team were a godsend! Not only did they agree to see our project through to completion, which meant they had to assess the previous work and deal with countless issues left by the first contractor, they helped us navigate a very complicated contractual situation.

Communication is so important when you're building a home and it was made easy with their project management tool. We were kept informed of all project details, timelines, and costs with this tool. Our superintendent Bill was especially approachable and accessible throughout all building phases and generally cared about getting our custom home built to our liking. After our move in when we had some issues materialize, Bill was very responsive in getting them addressed quickly.
