My husband died in 2021. We had selected Science Care in 2004 so I wasn't sure if we still qualified. I called Science Care the day after he died and they retrieved the body, cremated it and sent the cremains back to me. They were kind and very considerate in all aspects of the situation. I am truly glad that Eric could contribute to future health care by his donation.
I strongly recommend this organization. It is difficult making arrangements when your loved one is not yet deceased, so I especially appreciate and am grateful for the professionalism and compassionate care shown to me. While it is devastating that my late husband is no longer here, I am VERY grateful that he was taken care of with dignity. Also, what helps is knowing that even though he is no longer here on earth, his donation to Science Care will have lingering and ongoing effect on the healthcare of many. Also, I plan to have my body donated when it is my time. To know that I can go on helping people warms my heart and means a lot to me.
I lost my sister last year to cancer. Science Care took care of everything. She was treated with respect and they took care of everything. I didn't have to stress about anything. It is a hard enough time without added stress. I have signed up myself and so have some of my friends.
