I’ve been here twice for the same reason. My dog had an allergic reaction to a vaccine. Once was at the end of 2023 and the second time was February 2026.
Both times, the staff was kind, attentive and quick with their service.
Yesterday I assume there were 3 people working and all of them played an equal part in making us feel like our dog mattered.
They checked his vitals yesterday, noticed swelling was going down and didn’t charge us for the care and attention they offered.

We are so thankful for Phoenix Veterinary Referral & Emergency, and Dr. Terry in particular! Our sweet Pomeranian recently came down with a lower GI issue that gave us a big scare. We had 4 vet visits in one week between our primary care and PVRE. Dr. Terry spent so much time with us and our girl. Her attention to detail, explanation of diagnosis and treatment, and care and compassion for our situation was unmatched. She even called us personally to check in on her and to talk through an update to medication following a mild allergic reaction. Dr. Terry is a gem. I’d love if... read full review
