The lady at the front desk talked to my grandmother like you would talk to a baby. My grandmother didn't like it and I didn't like it. Just because you're elderly doesn't mean you can't think and comprehend like everyone else. I won't be taking her there anymore.
One Medical/Iora on greenway rd has become the worst doctor's service I've ever had. At first I loved the practice and then the doctor's were gone and you're assigned a new doctor and then they're gone. My most recent appointment was via telephone or zoom, I'm not sure but I couldn't get into the visit. My next appointment was going to be in person and I received a text message that it was teleconference call? No instructions on how to log in!
You will see I reviewed in 2018. I was thrilled with IORA. I am still very happy with their care once I get to the office. However, I totally agree with Bill F.'s comments regarding the nightmare that exists in actually getting to talk to someone at the office. I used to call the office and it was answered by someone at 32nd & Greenway. Now, when I call that same number, it is answered by someone located heaven knows where (they won't tell me where they are when I ask) and they take my number and someone is supposed to call back. Uh, I have blocks on my phone to weed out spam calls. When I told them that, their response was "Well, turn off the blocker". And my response was, "I don't know how!" Once I finally get to "my peeps" actually in the office, it's fine. Bill F. is waiting for Amazon, the new owner as I understand it, to "turn it around". While I love Amazon, I don't particularly want them in charge of my health care, and I do blame them for these communication problems. I hate to say it, but I'm looking for a new PCP. Meanwhile, if I have a medical need, I will just show up at the office and wait for someone to see me.
