We have been seeing NCAH since 2019 with our Havanese. We've always appreciated the care given to our dog and the service provided. We travel all the way from Mesa so that our dog can continue to have the care we feel like he gets from here. They are located off Dunlap and Central, small parking lot, but if you can, book an early morning appointment to avoid traffic on the streets and highway.
when I was working at the county shelter, a co-worker recommended North Central Animal Hospital to me. she takes all her pets there. I drive 30 minutes each way to use this facility because they have proven time and again I can trust my baby to them. never once have I felt, "rubbed the wrong way,". nor have I ever felt my girl wasn't receiving great care here. it's really a huge relief knowing I can trust the -entire- staff here. From phones and emails to reception, the techs, and the doctors.... These folks are golden.
Let me start by saying, finding an avian vet is difficult to begin with. But finding one in a serious emergency, in panic mode, is brutal. These ladies got me in same day (within 30 minutes of me calling), on a Saturday, and saved my conure. Even when I was not easy to deal with- (panicking, bitchy, freaking tf out). Don't listen to the other reviews (that's what originally caused me to freak out and have doubts while i was there), these ladies are all phenomenal. Glad to have found them in this emergency for future use (hopefully no more emergencies).
