This afternoon went by so quickly. I was so glad I chose to attend the class rather than do it online. I learned quite a bit and definately appreciated the warnings about staying off the phone in the car. My ticket wasn't for that but it's a very good reminder. Everyone passes the test so don't worry about that. I'm so grateful that this option is avaliable yearly.
Recently got a red light ticket. Friends encouraged me to take the online course, but was deterred by the testing process which has nothing to do with the material, and stories of extreme boredom. Recommend Got a Ticket defensive driving class. Instructor was excellent (Richard Slay), kept the material flowing, gave breaks at expected times, knew the material and how to present. Class started at 8:15am and was out the door with certificate in hand at 12:45pm. Did not get bored, did not fall asleep, and jokes were funny. Actually learnt something about AZ DUI laws, and what constitutes a red light violation. The initial registration was a little chaotic, as 2 different companies presenting same class in adjacent rooms, unplanned. Fortunately I arrived 30min early, and was able to avoid what might have been a stressful process. Facility at Holiday Inn Express in Scottsdale, was great, clean bathrooms, free coffee, fruit and water (not sure about coffee and fruit). I would recommend this class if you need to take the AZ Defensive driving class to dismiss a driving ticket. I have no affiliation with Got a Ticket Defensive Driving or parent. Apparently there is an umbrella company - Traffic School Management Services LLC, with a number of schools which "Got a Ticket" is part of.
If you're like me, nothing makes you more angry than getting a ticket. There I am minding my own business and the car next to me makes the same turn I do at the same time (two turn lanes mind you) and the police officer decides to give just me a ticket. How do they decide who they pull over? I heard of this company through a friend at school and the whole process couldn't be easier. You don't have to complete it all in one session so it won't suck your day and life away. Helpful "need help" tab on the side where someone is there to help you out with the registering process. Scanned and emailed my info and I was enrolled in minutes. Hopefully, you don't get a ticket. But if you do. This company made it painfully easy to take care of it!
