Based on how I personally experienced trying to find out if I could get a receipt with their Arizona Massage Therapist (LMT) license number, I question the legitimacy of this business.
I physically went to Essence of Health hoping to schedule a massage and was told to call the owner regarding my receipt question. I called as directed and was told the owner would call me back. This was only after the person on the phone was extremely evasive, hung up on me, and then after I called back took my number for the owner to call me. No one called me back. Now when I call, they answer after 1-2 rings but hang up on me.
It was all very strange and disappointing. I wanted a massage and thought it would be nice to support a local business. Clearly that will not be happening.

Come here every Thursday because I work in a warehouse lifting heavy frozen pizza boxes. All the lifting after a week makes my back hurt. I come here, and the pain is just gone. I love it.

Very bad massage lol it wasn’t even a massage. She was rubbing her hands on my back and she did it for like 20 minutes or less. Not even for 30 minutes and I can definitely tell she wasn’t even experience. Why is it place even open?

I was offered an appointment from one of the ladies and when I showed up the door was locked, I waited a few them tried again. The rude woman who made the appointment for me opened the door and said they were closed now. Nobody called to tell me or made it possible for me to get a different time, all she said was “ well it will have to be later” then closed the door. I don’t know if she is the manager but if she is that tells you how this place is run. She was EXTREMELY rude and dismissive. She is the one with all the bad plastic surgery and bleach blond hair. If you do decide to go here make sure you ask for Diana, she is the most professional and sweetest woman they have there. This wasn’t the first rude interaction I had either. Don’t think I’ll be back.
