“Southwest Truck Driver Training is the best school to go to if you want to get your cdl in the Phoenix area. They’ll have you knowledgeable and prepared to step foot into the truck driving industry in as little as 4 weeks. I took night classes here January-February 2024 and had a great experience. The first week we had instructor Jim teach us a lot about trucks and truck components. (Side note he has a lot of great stories). The second week we had Instructor David teach us about trip planning, log books, and much more ; on top of that every day of the second week we had recruiters from many different companies come in and tell us about what they have to offer if anyone was interested. The next two weeks we would be with instructor Andre or AJ on the range or on the road learning our pre trip inspection, our 3 different backing maneuvers and how to drive a manual truck. This atmosphere was stress free and we were comfortable enough to joke around with everyone and have a fun time while learning valuable information. Even though it took me 3 attempts to pass my road test i still passed and I now hold a cdl. If you fail they will give you a call back in a day or two or even the same day to schedule your next test. Overall I’m glad I went with Southwest truck driver training and if your are stuck in a position where you don’t know what cdl school to choose I can tell you that Southwest will be the ones to take care of you the most.
