I wouldn't personally hire this company. (This wasn't my choice). The interaction with the service person got pretty uncomfortable. I'll just say I made sure my husband was home for visit 2 and wouldn't have scheduled visit 2 without him there. Additionally, messes were left at our house both times, black soot smudged on our door, blue disposable gloves were dumped behind one of our bushes near the street under a pile of fireplace ashes and debris. On the side of our house, broken fireplace pieces were dumped into our yard trimmings can for some reason - but he kind of missed so there was a mess of broken fireplace all around the can on the ground as well. I just had my fireplace cleaned and inspected. Shaun was 20 minutes early which was great! He was polite and gave me a few pointers. He also advised me I didn't in fact need a stopper installed on the damper since it isn't gas and is real wood burning. He was done in about 30 minutes. He collected payment ($150) and carried on with his day. It wasn't until he left when I noticed what mess was created in the process. He had put down a blanket to protect my fresh paint and floors but that didn't seem to help. Im not sure if the dirt blew around or if the blanket was dirty. Regardless, I would have hoped he'd cleaned up after himself instead of commenting on my nice paint...read full review
