About Arizona Exotic Animal Hospital (Phoenix)
Arizona Exotic Animal Hospital is a well-known and trusted veterinary hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. They specialize in providing medical, surgical, and boarding services for exotic pets, including birds, reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals. The hospital's staff, including vets and receptionists, are known for their kindness, friendliness, and professionalism. They take the time to answer questions, provide detailed instructions, and offer support when needed. One reviewer mentioned having had bad experiences with vets in the past, but was pleased to find a trustworthy and reliable office in Arizona Exotic Animal Hospital. The avian veterinarian, Taylor Lewis, is specifically highlighted as extremely knowledgeable and able to handle even the most anxious cockatoos with confidence and a calm demeanor. The staff was absolutely amazing, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. Everyone was very gentle and kind when it came to pets, and readily able to provide resources. The doctors' abilities are very confident. Vet technicians and receptionists are empathetic. There is no other place people would want to take their birds. Pets seem to like interacting with them, which is surprising since they were not always comfortable with vets before going here. They opt to try less invasive practices first and are responsive. The dedication to the job and how much they care about animals is truly amazing. Overall, Arizona Exotic Animal Hospital is a highly recommended location for exotic pet owners in Phoenix and the West Valley.
Great facility and caring staff. Best place to take an exotic pet too for great care. Dr. Pilny was terrific & I appreciate the details he provided in the care of my animal. the genuine concern for my Box Turtle's issue
Took really good care of my rabbits when going through GI stasis, and were quick to get them in for an appointment. Everyone, everyone was so friendly and nice to be around. Everyone seemed knowledgeable about topics. The atmosphere was calm, you would never know what was going on in the hospital.
The past few years my lovebird, Peachy, has been going here. She has PBFD so she’s chronically ill and comes here more often than average. She has seen Dr Pilney and Dr Lamb and I feel so confident in both of the doctors abilities.
The vet technicians and the receptionists and these doctors have been so empathetic. There’s no other place I’d want to take her.
Peachy seems to even like interacting with them which is surprising since she was not always comfortable with vets before we started going here. I appreciate that they opt to try less invasive practices first and are responsive for when Peachy needs further treatment.
