My Mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer/dementia in 2018, she was progressing at the speed of light. Originally sought out the Alzheimer's Association (AA) to volunteer and attend fundraising events here in AZ, after being involved as a volunteer and using the services during my Dad's ten year battle, and grief counseling after his death. The support and knowledge provided by the AA cannot be overstated; they are literally a beacon in the horrific darkness which ALZ is. Recently, my Mom has been diagnosed with ALZ, too; ironically, she still leads a support group in NV for caregivers.
