Even her personality is so gentle, genuine and beautifully calm. She is such a professional and hires the best assistants who are also so caring as they apply ice before and after each needle is inserted.

Another way that she prevents pain is that she will give you a prescription for the (very low price) numbing cream so that you can start the numbing process at home an hour before. Believe me, this makes a "night & day" difference from other places who apply the numbing cream while you are in their office.

I have been going to her for many years (so has my mother) and she has never left a bruise from needles which is absolutely astonishing because I have bruised excessively when I had any type of facial filler or "botox" done by other doctors, plastic surgeons or cosmetic practices. The very unsightly bruises would last for weeks.

In fact, my helpful advice to you is to never have your lips filled by a plastic surgeon. I learned the hard way (with 2 different TOP plastic surgeons) that they are not as skilled! I was left with excessive bruising, embarrassing lumps, uneven lips that lasted for over 6 months and bumps that lasted a year. You may find yourself paying a lot of money and then not be able to go out in public for quite a long time. However, if this HAS happened to you, Dr. Shannon Heck can dissolve and fix it for you.
