“This review is a little late in coming, but I can't thank Desert Palms enough for helping me out. At the end of April, I was faced with hip and leg pain so bad that I could hardy walk and barely slept. Had seen urgent care and was on heavy anti-inflammatories and was not making much progress. Faced with having to drive to Colorado in a couple of weeks, I sought out physical therapy. Desert Palms was recommended by several neighbors. When I called they were booked out for two weeks. I told the receptionist, Marion, my plight, and told her I was willing to be on a cancelation list. Marion called back the next day and managed to find me 4 appointments with Brandon. When I started, I was still in a lot of pain, could not stand very long, and was having my wife drive me there. By my 3rd appointment, pain was dissipating, I was walking and sleeping better, and was driving again. Brandon diagnosed nerve issues related to L5/S1 spinal joints and treated me accordingly. Turns out he was correct, as my Colorado doctor confirmed when I saw him. I am continuing PT in Colorado as Brandon and my doctor recommended, and am close to 100% healed. I'm so grateful for Marion getting me in and for Brandon working to get me better.“

“I’m spending the winter in Tucson and wanted to find a place to exercise. I popped into SPENGA and was welcomed with open arms. I haven’t been to a gym since Covid hit and I was apprehensive. I’m 66 years old and wasn’t sure if I could do it. The 20 minutes of spin, 20 minutes of strength and 20 minutes of yoga is perfect. I’m absolutely loving the classes. I’m attending twice a week. The memberships are flexible and meet my needs as a winter resident. I’ve had 3 different instructors and they’ve all been great.“

“I love this gym. I swim. I box with my gloves at their boxing bags. I do racquetball.“
