Karen did a fantastic job with my pug! Usually my pug can be rather difficult to work with when doing her nails, a lot of groomers won't even cut her nails because they are unwilling or unable to do so. But not Karen, she was a confident and skilled groomer who displayed awesome emotional intelligence when working with my pug.
From the first call everything felt right, not only did Karen do an excellent job, both of my dogs were no easy task, we were getting them groomed for years with a mobile service, that service became a nightmare, canceling on us, excuses of malfunctioning equipment, long story short, my dogs fur got out of control, other places told us that they would have to be shaved and one place even said that my smaller dog had to be shaved at the vet.
Found this place online (Platinum Grooming) and Karen left both of them looking amazing, probably the best they looked in years, will be coming back regularly even though it's an hour drive from our home.
Awesome service from Karen!! Every time we’ve come in, we leave happy. My first experience with Platinum was back in 2024 with my two senior cats because they were one of the few places that offered cat grooming at a reasonable price (though I’m unsure if they offer cat grooming now due to staff shortage? Definitely call to check!). My girls were old champs at grooming by then, so I wasn’t too surprised when things went well. But today we brought in our 2.5yo schnauzer/pom boy for a summer cut and it was his first time ever in a professional grooming setting. I was nervous about how he would do, as he’s never been aggressive but isn’t used...read full review
