“We are so grateful to have found both Adobe Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Phil Heitman for our little Boston Terrier. What a knowledgable, caring, and professional office for pet care! Our little pup has had a very tough start, having to overcome many difficulties in his first two years of life. Most recently, from January-May, we had visited 2 other local veterinarians that were unable to diagnose and successfully treat our pup in overcoming inexplicable digestive issues. We had also spent a large sum of money on every recommended test in that 5 month span. A neighbor suggested that we try one more vet and call to get an appointment with Dr. Greg or Phil Heitman at Adobe Veterinary Clinic. We were able to get an appointment with Dr. Phil quickly and not only did he successfully treat our little guy- but he was able to get him completely healthy with a few simple treatments & for very reasonable pricing. It was such a relief to have our pup back to good health after that 5 month time period that seemed like forever. Our pup has some fear and anxiety due to all of his past experiences (prior to Adobe), resulting in behavior issues when he is at the vet. The staff at Adobe Veterinary Clinic has been absolutely incredible in the way they handle the individual needs of our pup. They are so understanding, gentle, and open to our input of what works best for our pup. Dr. Phil subsequently neutered our pup and most recently, removed his corkscrew tail due to inflammation and infection. Both surgeries went as expected and were successful in every way. We were so blessed to have Dr. Greg do the tail surgery; as he was in the office that day & noticed the corkscrew infection on his chart, which he has a lot of experience with. We felt so secure to leave him in such good hands. Our pup is now back to the sweet, spunky little guy we are used to at home. He's ready to get out and play and we are so appreciative of this quality care. We highly recommend this office and Dr. Phil and Dr. Greg to everyone!“

“My wife and I had been looking for dog training for our little dog Charlie. Other at home trainers were going to use an e-collar but we didn’t feel good about it. We found Balanced Pooches and thought we would give it a try. John trains you, the owner, how to effectively use positive reinforcement, and leadership training to get your dog to listen and be your friend. It’s a very personable experience. He gives you the tools you need to continue training your dog after the sessions are finished. He’s also much cheaper than a lot of alternatives but still provides a quality service. We have seen many positive improvements in Charlie. I wish we had started with John earlier!“

“I.B. K-9 is the best experience I’ve ever had training with my dog. My husband and I lost our previous Mali in a tragic accident, and we ended up getting another Mali, Lucy. As you could except losing a pet is extremely hard especially in a tragic manner. This being said, i was so insanely anxious to let her out of my sight let alone board her.. after meeting the team in the evaluation, and truly seeing how kind and supportive they are with every dog, we were convinced. Lucy spent exactly 2 months with them. Kristin had EXCELLENT communication with me the entire time she was away. Not only did we get cute photos of her progress, we went in weekly (after she adapted to being there) and got to learn with her and practice with her. It is like a night and day difference. The tips they gave and the instructions were above and beyond. Lucy is one of the best trained dogs we have ever had. Best investment we have made. Not only is her training insured throughout her entire life, they offer 1-1, group classes, and fun trainings through her life span and help with different life changes that can affect behavior such as a becoming new parents. I have kind of a difficult dog and no one has been able to groom her just because of lack of patience…Shaunte not only was able to get her done in a timely manner but went above and BEYOND on my expectations. “Affordable training sessions. Offers group classes with no more than 5 dogs at a time, or private lessons. The girls are super great and very patient. They want you to succeed in training your dog and they give you, the owners, the necessary tools and advice to help you and your dogs build a better relationship along with the obedience training. Sarah goes above and beyond and even after we left her class, she still took the time to see how my dog is doing. I will always recommend State 48 Dog Training to anyone who is looking for a great trainer.“

“We have had such a terrific experience at Katy’s. My German shepherd was so reactive on the leash it was taking the fun out of walking. At our initial evaluation, Katy provided several situations to encounter different dogs and gave an effective tool to address the reactivity on my first visit. After a few day care sessions we saw how quickly our shepherd was responding to the training. We ended up signing up for board and train so she could learn all the things! We are so impressed with Katy’s training, in addition to her treating our dog like one of her own. Such an awesome facility and training experience. Highly recommend.“
